Pricing Plan

Minimum Inspection Pricing

Every figure below is a minimum fee. Once we have confirmed the scope of your inspection — the property, the areas of concern and the documentation you need — you receive a fixed written quotation for standard inspection work. Nothing proceeds until you approve it. Expert witness, VCAT and court attendance work is quoted as a scoped fee estimate based on our minimum engagement and hourly rates, because the hours required depend on how the matter progresses.

Pricing Questions

Is GST included in your prices?

All prices listed are exclusive of GST. GST is added and confirmed in your final invoice.

The above are minimum fees only. Final pricing depends on the property’s size, complexity, location, documentation provided and access requirements. A fixed quotation is provided before work commences for standard inspection services. Expert witness, VCAT and court attendance work is quoted as a scoped fee estimate based on our minimum engagement and hourly rates rather than as a fixed price. Regional properties located more than 2 hours’ drive (one way) may incur an additional travel charge.

Seven things: the size of the property and number of storeys, its location and travel distance, access to the site and to the affected areas, the structural complexity of the building, the documentation you can provide, how urgently you need it, and the scope you choose — verbal advice on the day or a full engineer-signed report. All seven are assessed before we issue your fixed quotation.

Yes. Payment is required to confirm your booking. This ensures we can allocate an engineer to your inspection date and deliver your report on time.

Absolutely. Every inspection is confirmed with a written scope of works and fixed fee before we proceed.

Most inspections are completed within 10–12 business days. If you need it faster, let us know and we’ll do our best to prioritise your job.

Yes. All full reports are engineer-signed, insurance and council compliant, and VCAT/DBDRV ready if required.
